Here are a few sketches that I have done over the years, some of these stretch back to the early 90's. The Arnie and Jennifer Lawrence sketches are the most recent, just doing a couple of hour long sketches from an Empire magazine.
I was a big fan of Albert Uderzos work for the Asterix and Obelix comics so I used to do a fair bit of copying of his stuff back when I was in school. The rest are random pages from my sketch books. Hope you enjoy.
All presented in no particular order.
This is a collection of my artwork in all mediums both 2D and 3D. I am primarily a 3D artist who has worked for 8 years in the games industry and then moved over to TV work, working as a lead modeller at Brown Bag Films in Dublin for 3 and half years. The following posts are a mixture of personal and professional works.

Some more paintings
Thought I would post a few more paintings, mixture of old and new. All are acrylic on canvas except for the four lads in the bar, that's an oil on board. Apologies for the poor photo quality on a couple of these, I really need to get a better camera :)
A painting of banna strand in County Kerry - painted as a
present for my brother and his wife's wedding.
A painting of LifeTime Lab in Cork City - painted on
commission from Cork City Council.
Four lads in a bar - this was taken from a black and white
photo from the old Irish tourism board.

Space Marine Dropship
Here is some work I did on a sci fi space marine dropship concept. It was just a quick and dirty model based off a few biro sketches. I was working on cloud particles also in Max at the time and decided to do a short movie of a dropship flying over said clouds. Thanks go to Oli Harrison for the sound FX on the movie.

Environment work
Here are a few renders of one of the environments I worked on for DJ Hero 2, I converted all the shaders to mental ray for all the nice reflections and soft shadows : )
Below are some viewport captures from 3D Studio Max of the vertex coloured mesh.

3D Assets - Personal
Here is character I created for an animator colleague, it's based on a mexican wrestler and inspired by characters from the lucha libre comic. I've also included a few of the concept sketches I did in working towards this final character. He went through various stages of grumpiness, rotundness and age range :)

3D Assets - Work Related
Here are a few of the environment assets I created for DJ Hero 2 at Freestyle games. These are captured from the Max viewport and all have direct x shaders applied.
The following are guns I created at Swordfish studios for 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. The Main images are Mental Ray renders from Max using my source texture assets, and there is also a standard render to show the original diffuse more clearly. All weapons are 3rd person only and some are heavily modified versions of the original weapons. I have a couple more weapons and I'll post those later.
